The Home Visiting Team

Marlene and Jacqui have successfully completed a Unicef accredited course in Breastfeeding Management. 

They have also undertaken accredited training with the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE) covering the subjects of 'Breastmilk: Composition and Function', 'Anatomy and Physiology of the Lactating Breast', 'Positioning and Latch of the Baby to the Breast', 'Breastfeeding Initiation and the First Week', and 'Breastfeeding After the First Week'. These are instructional units defined by the IBLCE, for professional education, specific and appropriate for lactation consultants.  They have gained 60 CERPS (Continuing Education Recognition Points),

Marlene and Jacqui are independent breastfeeding advisors who have undergone enhanced CRB checks and have Public Liability Insurance.
